Villa Maria

This villa is in the area nearest to the sea and is without doubt the most impressive and loveliest amongst the houses in Lindos. The property, which can be rented on a weekly basis, is set in a large garden full of citrus and other trees, flowers and luxuriant plants, which shade and cool the various external spaces designed for relaxing.

Villa Maria is surrounded by a high wall which ensures total privacy.

The ground floor of this delightful villa is entirely set out round the garden and consists of a large, tastefully decorated sitting room with satellite TV, dining room, kitchen, bedroom with two beds and a bathroom, as well as a large courtyard.

All the rooms on the ground floor, the patio and the tower room are decorated with koklaki mosaics.

Outside the kitchen on the west side of the garden, there is a pergola with a table, ideal for alfresco dining during your holiday in Lindos.

The entrance opens on to a wonderful 17th-century patio, which leads via a stone stairway to the tower room where a bedroom with two beds has been created.

Continuing along a colonnade which is unique in Lindos architecture, you come to two more bedrooms, one single, the other double, which are decorated with old original wood panelling from the island of Rhodes.

These bedrooms lead on to a large roof terrace with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea to the north and the Acropolis to the south. The terrace is supplied with cushions where you can relax during your stay in Greece.

From the bedrooms, you go down to the bathroom which is halfway between the bedrooms and the ground floor. At the same level there is a mezzanine room used as a study.

From the garden, you access another bedroom with two beds.

The owners can provide a wonderful wooden 8-metre fishing boat with skipper for visiting all the enchanting little inlets near Lindos.
